It’s National Book Week. The rules: Grab the closest book to you. Go to page 56. Copy the 5th sentence as your status. Don’t mention the book. Post these rules as part of your status.

At the highest point, the acceleration is still a = -g = -9.8 m/s^2, the same value as when the ball is moving up and when it’s moving down.

Forgive me for being cheesy today, but when I read a friend’s quote (also for the National Book Week thing) that somehow reflected on the vague notion that life is but an endless swirl of ups and downs, I can’t help but get reflective on (gasp) my university physics book (It’s the middle of midterms week and yet naning Mr. S apparently was left in the other house with Buddy and Benjie; I’m in deep muscular and cerebral atrophy right now, hence this post). Here it goes:

Slow and steady made the turtle win. This, over the impulsive rabbit, validates the idea that one must act slowly and decisively to succeed, because either way, we all reach the highs and lows of life, at the same pace. In fact, reaching the top is but a mere moment in time, before everything falls down, at the same rate you made it to the top. Going fast makes you reach the top first, but so quick too you should fall. Constant, the world turns. Constant, we live our lives. Constant, should suffering go alongside with the pleasures of life. Because for every upward climb, our velocity reaches to a standstill until we stop at the top. We embrace savor every moment of it, and just as it started, the downhill fall begins, still at the same acceleration, slowly increasing the speed, till terminal velocity hits, and you fall back to where you started. Every fall per second felt like the inverse of the upward climb per second; all at the same acceleration. No matter how fast we run, we all reach the top. No matter how fast we run, we always go back to where we started.

Three more days of tests.

Two hundred peso goal to save cash.

One Japanese food trip after midterms week.

Reblog if you’re a quiet/shy person naturally but when you’re with your friends, you act like you’re on crack.

Late Bloomer

I just saw one hyped-up Thai movie. Am I the only guy who sees how incredibly racist (and somewhat sexist) Crazy Little Thing Called Love is?
